Your local Hijri date differs?
If your country or mosque follows a different moon sighting, shift dates by a day or two. Saved only in this browser; official dates are not changed.
How these times are calculated
The times for Al-Ahsa (Hofuf) are the official Umm al-Qura prayer times published by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (ummulqura.org.sa), the same times as Saudi mosques. Isha is 120 minutes after Maghrib in Ramadan.
Imsak is shown 10 minutes before Fajr, as on Gulf imsakiyas. It is a precaution: the fast itself begins at Fajr (the dawn adhan). Iftar is at Maghrib (sunset).
When does Ramadan start?
The dates follow the Umm al-Qura calendar. Saudi Arabia confirms the start of Ramadan after the crescent sighting on the evening of 29 Shaban, so the first day can move by a day.
If the start is announced a day earlier or later, use “Your local Hijri date differs?” below the table: the whole timetable shifts by a day and the times stay correct for each date.

Frequently asked questions
What time is iftar in Al-Ahsa (Hofuf) on the first day of Ramadan?
On the expected first day (Monday, February 8, 2027) iftar (Maghrib) in Al-Ahsa (Hofuf) is at 5:31 pm, and Imsak is at 4:51 am. Each day's times are in the table above.
What is the difference between Imsak and Fajr?
Fajr is the start of dawn and the start of the fast. Imsak is a precautionary time about 10 minutes earlier, so that suhoor is finished before Fajr.
Why is the 30th day marked with an asterisk?
Ramadan has 29 or 30 days depending on the moon sighting at the end of the month. The 30th row only applies if the month completes 30 days; otherwise that day is Eid al-Fitr.
Can I print this timetable?
Yes. Use the Print button: the printout shows all prayer times for the whole month on one page.
